Michael Kunde, inventor

Before inventing the Halo devices, Michael was a salesman in the medical field specializing in seating and positioning and fall prevention. He worked in the industry for over 30 years and was proud to pass his knowledge on to his daughter, Rachel, and son-in-law, Oliver. He believed we must "fight the obstacles that keep us from delivering the goods [our most vulnerable communities] need to live a better life."

Shortly after the FDA outlawed bed rails for their restrictive nature and the entrapment risks they posed, the design for the Halo Safety Ring came to Michael in a dream. He went all in and dedicated the rest of his life to establishing Halo as the top bed mobility device on the market. Michael teamed up with Rachel and Oliver in 2019 to bring his inventions into the digital age and educate the distributors, facilities and users who use Halo most.
